Bill Scott on Spiritual Warfare

It’s amazing to think that 40% of those who attend church don’t believe that Satan is a real being. For these people, Satan is a symbol of evil but not real and most definitely not roaming around like a roaring lion seeking who can can devour as mentioned in 1 Peter 5:8.

I wrote The Day Satan Called to draw attention to the spiritual battle that all of us face on a daily basis. My experience with spiritual warfare is much more intense than the average person’s, and yet coming from a Independent Bible Baptist denomination I was the most unlikely person for this to happen to. My hope is that the church will see how intense the battle can be after hearing about what my wife and I faced for 18 months. At some point, we are going to have to take the Bible at its word when it talks about the demonic fight we are in.

Ephesians 6:12 (NASB):
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Many people read over this scripture quickly because it makes them uncomfortable to actually take the passage seriously. The Bible is very clear that there is a battle that all of us must face and that we need to be prepared.

I believe The Day Satan Called will encourage and equip individuals for spiritual warfare and allow them to walk in the authority that God has given His children.

Sounds like an amazing story on a subject that most Christians don’t like to talk about or think about too deeply. But our story DOES have an Enemy. Would love to get an audio copy of the book to review for my Blog. Love Bill’s voice and sounds like the type of story you want to “hear” firsthand!
