There is a link between your last novel, Broken, and 40. Was that intentional?
I knew I wanted to write 40 long before I started work on Broken. So when I wrote Broken, I thought it would be cool to have a back story between the main characters of each book. Even if you read both of the stories, you only have a small glimpse into this story. But it’s fun to connect books in various ways. I’ve done this throughout my career.
